Chorley Parking What For?

In the latest disaster from Chorley Council and the LCC to get even more money out of Chorley motorist you have to wonder if anyone is the "Authorities" have a clue about what's happening to Chorley!

It amazes be to see that Chorley car parks are full every week, this is great as it means people are spending in our great town but to what expense? The current fine for going 1 minute over your allowed time is around £30!

I personally have no idea how long I want to go shopping for and the knowledge that I have this ticking time bomb in the car really puts be off! I find myself not enjoying my shopping spree and constantly looking at my watch!

In Manchester, who I love and go to often, there are a large number of self contained car parks that issue tickets when you arrive and you pay when you leave! This idea helps motivate the much required shopper to focus on the task at hand, spending money in the shops.
