New Homes in Chorley Step Closer

Homes in Chorley The plans to build 6 new homes in Chorley's Eccleston area is a small boost for local builders however the relatively low prices of the house could bring the local house prices down.

When the council agrees to allow new builds I think there should be a cap on the sales price that matches the local area. If new builds are selling for a lower price than its local equivalents then this will deter people from buying existing houses on the market.
The average price within Chorley – Eccleston is £145,000 and the new builds are looking to be around £150,000. Why would anyone buy an old house for only £5,000 less!

I am Saying this will a heavy heart as I also understand that the growing problems for the building trade and there need to stay cost effective in order to survive in the Chorley area.
